If you were in the first edition of our Book Club, you know we’re helping you fulfill your “read more books” resolution for this year. Buckle up for the second edition!
On October 28th, join us for the second discussion of our book club! The topic is Women in tech and the book of the month is “Broad Band: The Untold Story of the Women Who Made the Internet” (by Claire L. Evans). Our amazing guests are the girls on the Techie Girls Community – they’ll be sharing their thoughts on it and go through a Q&A. Are you as excited as we are?

We are bringing a new initiative to gather our virtual community and keep on learning on topics that we are fond of while enjoying the art of reading.
Each month we will ask you on Instagram what book you want to read out of a selection. Our book selection will be around tech, entrepreneurship, and more specific topics on how to become a better professional in the digital world.
At the end of each month, we will gather around in a webinar where we and our special host will go over the main topics of the book and a discussion will be held between attendees and speakers.

The Techie Girls community was born in 2017 by the initiative of 4 student girls pursuing a degree in Computer Science. These girls were brought together by the overwhelming male majority among their peers within their generation and the previous ones.
This amazing community aims to encourage more fellow women into tech, to mentor them, facilitate their access to accurate and interesting information, and to promote the value of diversity, inclusion, and equality in the Tech sector.
