Choosing Startup Winners | Angel Education Series
June 5, 2019 @ 8:00 am - 10:00 am EDT$30
When you are investing in startups that help solve humanity’s biggest challenges and won’t have a product on the market for another decade, how do you pick which idea to back?
Angel investing can be similar. We invest so early the product hardly exists, the market is new, or a traditional market is being disrupted — how can we know if it will succeed?
Patty Wexler, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Starlight VC will walk us through how Starlight VC addresses the questions above.
During our time, we will build on Patty’s 15+ year career investing in startups to uncover how to validate team, market, and product before choosing to invest in a company.
Think of this workshop like Due Diligence level 301 for intermediate to advanced investors.
8:00 am – 8:30 am Registration & Breakfast
8:30 am – 10:00 am Picking Winners Workshop followed by Q+A
