April 5, 2016 @ 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm

We’re partnering with The Miami Foundation to bring you the Design Thinking for the 2016 Public Space Challenge Workshop! Great for new and experienced design thinkers alike, this exercise-driven workshop will walk you through the full design thinking cycle to help you uncover great ideas to creating, improving and activating local public spaces. You’ll leave not only with design thinking experience but also with actionable ideas that you may submit to the 2016 Public Space Challenge hosted by The Miami Foundation, where $305,000 will be invested to make top ideas a reality!
What is Design Thinking?
Design Thinking is a creative approach to problem solving with a heightened focus on understanding the people involved. Innovative people and companies use it today to arrive at ideas and solutions that better reach their audience, whether it’s improving a space, developing a product, designing a system, or crafting an experience.
What to Know:
Refreshments provided. This workshop starts promptly at 6:30pm. Please arrive at 6:15pm to park, get checked in, grab refreshments, and meet fellow design thinkers.
