FREE Tech Start-up Pitch Event at The Greenhouse with Dan Gudema

We Are Now Officially A StartupPOP Event. What is StartupPOP?  StartupPOP is an outgoing email newsletter to investors as well as a focus on Startup Tools, Books and Startup Education.  StartupPOP will be running events in South Florida, New York City and Santa Monica, CA. WHO:  Local Entrepreneurs, Start-Ups, Tech Community, Angel Investors, Tech Mentors, Venture Capital EXECs, MGRs, SPONSORS (see below).
WHAT:  The Boca Raton Tech Start-Ups Meetup is  running our 8th Tech Start-Up Pitch Night & Networking. Our intention is to assist local tech start-ups to pitch their tech product or service.  A tech start-up can be looking for a variety of things like seed capital, tech partners, business partners, advisers, mentors or business leads. Attendees are welcome to stay and network afterwords. We are expecting between 70 and 100 attendees. If you are interested in SPONSORING our event, see RSVP information below.
ADDITIONAL: Local businesses and services with offices in the Greenhouse will be given a few moments to let people know what they do and how they serve tech start-ups or other industries.
WHEN:September 16th (Wed), 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM
WHERE: The Greenhouse Building in the Atrium, 5301 N Federal Hwy, Boca Raton, FL  (enter through the front entrance)
HOW MUCH: No Cost.
However, if you are a SERVICE BUSINESS like a LAW FIRM, ACCOUNTING, a WEB AGENCY, an INSURANCE PROVIDER, REAL ESTATE AGENT or justLOVE THIS EVENT and want to support it, you can buy small to large sponsorships from $35 to $600 by purchasing below. The lowest end sponsorship $35 will get your business listed on our powerpoint presentation and on our handouts at the door.
INCLUDES:  Soft Drinks and Light Snacks (no cost)  This is why we are looking for sponsors, so please contact us.
PARKING: No cost
THE FORMAT: Between 5 and 10 local tech start-ups will be given up to 3 minutes (no pitch deck) to pitch their concept or product/service.  There is networking before and after the event. Pitching companies can provide a short, no more than 3 pages of power point, which we will display on a screen.  There will be a panel of successful entrepreneurs and investors who will be a sort of “Boca Shark Tank” that will be at the event.  This panel will have a few moments to ask a few questions following each pitch.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY REQUIREMENT: We are requiring participants fill out a 2 page executive summary.  The reason we are requiring this, is a group of investors who would like to review what companies are pitching and the potential opportunity before the event.  This is required.  So if you are interested in pitching please email me at dgudema@gmail.com and I can send you this document to fill out.   Start-ups who are pitching also can send us up to 4 power point slides or a link to a demo site.
The start-up companies pitching have up to 3 minutes to answer 5 common questions about their business:
What is their product/service?
What is their business model?
Size of the Market they serve?
How do they get to market or get traction?
What are they here looking for? Capital, Partners, Advisers, etc..
Potential Advisers, Mentors and Audience members will be asked to approach start-ups of interest after the event.  We will list the companies which will pitch as we approach the pitch date.
