Linux Migration to Azure Hackfest: Assessing and Migrating Enterprise Linux Workloads to Azure

Join us for this interactive, hands-on workshop coming to your local Microsoft office.
Assessing and migrating enterprise workloads into the public cloud can be a daunting task.  This hackfest will focus on leveraging tools to automate the assessment and migration of existing Linux server workloads to Microsoft Azure.  We will also walk through options for PaaS services as well as advanced optimizations for open source solutions along the way.
The hackfest will include hands on components where attendees will gain familiarity with multiple approaches and be able to actively engage with our engineers and architects.
Please note: Workshop content presumes a 300-level of architectural expertise of infrastructure and solutions design in this domain (even if on another platform). We suggest attendees take the Microsoft Azure Essentials course as a prerequisite if unfamiliar with Azure.
As part of this workshop, please plan to bring a laptop with you.
