Miami Open Data Day 2017: Climate Change and Sea Level Rise

March 4, 2017 @ 9:00 am - 4:30 pm

Miami has been called ground zero for climate change disruptions because our 2.6 million population is vulnerable to increased sea level rise, beach erosion, saltwater intrusion into drinking water, air quality impacts, building, sewer system and infrastructure vulnerability, prolonged heat waves, high wind loads, increasing homeowner insurance rates or insurance withdrawals, and more.

Come be a part of the discussion and hack focused on climate change and sea level rise – and what we can do to help.

Open Data Day is an annual celebration of open data all over the world. For the fifth time in history, groups from around the world will create local events on the day where they will use open data in their communities. It is an opportunity to show the benefits of open data and encourage the adoption of open data policies in government, business and civil society.
