How many times did you participate in a project that ended up not being used by people? How many times did you see a feature being developed, but then realized it was not useful, or usable? How many friends told you about their great idea for the next startup, but they failed?

If you are growing in the tech world (or if youโ€™re transitioning to tech), itโ€™s most likely that youโ€™ll participate in building digital products for people, such as apps, websites, and software,… Our world is full of them.

As humans, we are machines for ideas: we want to create things, do more, develop new solutions, grow our businesses and create projects that are meaningful to us๐Ÿ’ก.

But we have a tendency to jump to solutions VERY quickly. And by doing this, we bring a good amount of personal bias with us.

User Research is the art of getting a pulse of your user’s needs before jumping to a solution.

๐Ÿ“Œ It allows you to :

focus on the real problem (rather than a business need)
identifying and understanding your audience, by putting yourself in their shoes
test ideas without investing 1 cent in development
lower the risks of investing time and money in a solution that will fail
Thatโ€™s why weโ€™d like to invite you to our next free webinar: User Research: what it is and why everyone should do it!, taking place on the 25th of October at 18:00 CET. ๐Ÿ“

Ready?! ๐Ÿ™Œ

You don’t need to be an experienced researcher to start doing User Research. Any project would benefit (at least) a little User Research. In this talk, We’ll give you simple and actionable tips to start doing User Research.

We’ll share with you a couple of reusable templates on Miro and Notion, and share with you two case studies of what User Research can look like in real life.

The webinar will be led by Ironhack alumni Clemence, who will walk you through her journey of transitioning to freelance, step by step, all while sharing a wealth of tips, tricks, resources, and techniques.

Who is Clemence? ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ’ป

A freelance UX Designer with 5 years of experience (3+ in design). She specializes in UX Design, User Research, and Information Architecture – which means that she helps companies understand users, identify problems, and design solutions in order to make people’s lives simpler.

Wanting more time for herself and to be passionate about her work, Clemence walked away from a good-paying job in Canada to pursue her dream lifestyle. She decided to change careers and do the UX/UI Design Bootcamp in Barcelona and now works as a freelancer 3 days a week on various projects throughout Europe.
