Using Tableau Public to Visualize Climate Data 📈

November 4, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

Analyzing data is crucial for society to best come up with solutions to the various environmental and societal challenges we face 🎯. Without it, the latest IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) report, for example, wouldn’t be possible.

Join us for our free upcoming workshop, taking place on 4 of November at 18:00h CET📍. We’ll use Tableau Public to explore what effect the COVID19 global lockdown had on air pollutant levels during the first quarter of 2019.

Ready?! 🙌

📌 The workshop is beginner-friendly! All you need is a computer, a good internet connection and to set up a Tableau Public profile to host your work and be able to use the tool (it’s simple to do and you can download the desktop version here).

👩‍💻 // The workshop will be led by the amazing Angela Sanchez!

Angela has a bachelor’s degree in biotechnology and is in the process of completing her master’s degree in bioinformatics and biostatistics. She recently decided to enroll in Ironhack’s Full-Time Data Analytics Bootcamp to be able to analyze more than biological data, and is now working as a Teacher’s Assistant in the very next cohort! Her passion is translating the facts stored in data into meaningful information so that people and companies are aware of the impacts of their decisions.
