Following a business career which included CEO roles in public and private companies, Steve became an active angel investor and author in 2011. After joining New World Angels (NWA) in 2012, Steve became President of this premier Florida angel investor which is comprised of 68 accredited investors who had prior successful careers in business, medicine, law, finance and technology. Since 2014, NWA has invested over $12MM into Florida start-ups and now has an active portfolio of 14 companies. NWA members range from Naples to Tampa and from Miami to Jupiter.

A program to incubate the creation of more than 100 startups a year. Miami Dade College is the largest institution of higher education in the United States with more than 170,000 students.
Founder of The i-LAB Startup Initiative a 501(c)(3) nonprofit foundation that is focused on building entrepreneurship centers in urban communities and university sectors. The i-LAB Startup initiative is open to any entrepreneur from any university or community with any idea at any stage of formation. Every cohort entrepreneur teams apply to participate in the Venture Incubation Program, a 15-week integrated program that combines mentoring, workshops and community to help the teams move their startup ideas “further, faster.” Post-graduation select teams and other qualified applicants move onto the Launch Lab, a prototype co-working space and program of funded alumni ventures.
