#WIT | How to foster the presence of women in the tech industry?

March is women’s month and we are celebrating! We have invited a group of inspiring women thriving in the tech industry for a set of talks, panel discussions, and workshops, and we are very excited to share all of this with you ⚡️.
On March 8th, we will be kicking-off the conversation with Ayumi Moore Aoki, the founder & CEO of the Women in Tech, and the digital agency Social Brain, to talk about how we can foster the presence of women in the tech industry 🔥.

👩🏻💻// Meet our guest Ayumi Moore Aoki // 👩🏻💻
Ayumi Moore Aoki is the Founder and President of Women in Tech, a leading global organization whose mission is to achieve gender equality and women’s empowerment in STEM fields. She is a leading global expert in women empowerment and community building. She is a keynote speaker, entrepreneur, advocate, and mother of 4 children.
Having lived and worked in many different countries, including Brazil, South-Africa, and France, Ayumi has significant international experience advancing women in innovation and technology, leading diversity and inclusion programs, and organizing global events. She currently leads Social Brain, a human-scale, award-winning digital agency. The agency is dedicated to accompanying brands in their online communication.

Raquel has a background in management, and work as a digital marketer and project manager before joining Ironhack as a community manager. She is passionate about education, and a strong sense of purpose drives her growth mindset in any project she is in. She is also a full-stack web developer, and passionate about technology.
Marina Pereda has been working with Ironhack for two years but has worked in the education sector for 7 years, mostly in marketing and sales departments but also teaching and coordinating international programs. She is graduated in Media Studies and has MA in Art and Literature, and has a great interest in projects that bring together technology, social impact, communication, and culture!
