Pitch Madness is the one of a kind pitch competition that brings founders to battle it out in a head to head competition fused with the elements of political debate.  This extracts some of the most important skill sets that founders have to offer while entertaining the audience in a fun and engaging way.  There will be 3 rounds of a debates followed by a final round consisting of 3 founders battling it out for 1st place.  There will be 10+ judges, all with backgrounds ranging from Angel Investing to Venture Capital and with experience growing and scaling early-stage companies.  This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure for your company and meet with individuals that can help take you to the next level.

Join The Idea Center’s Designing for Change graduates as they present their solutions around social and environmental issues that affect our local communities. Come and give them feedback as they make adjustments to the feasibility and viability of their projects.

What documents should an investor be reviewing in an early stage company? What does due diligence consist of when there is little-to-no revenue? What is the appropriate amount of due diligence for an angel investor to complete?

These are some of the questions that will be answered in the Due Diligence for Angel Investors Workshop, led by Tigre Wenrich, CEO of LAB Ventures. Tigre has made 24 angel investments to date with an unrealized gross IRR of 37%. As an experienced angel investor, he aims to strike a balance between completing thorough due diligence and making reasonable asks of the company. Tigre’s presentation will give angel investors tactical documents to review, what to look for, and important questions to ask.
