71lbs is looking for a dynamic salesperson person who has a relationship driven sales mind! We want this candidate to think with both a sales & marketing mind when approaching this role.
The best candidate for this role who will be successful with us short & long term will possess the following skills:
Prior sales experience (specifically b2b would be ideal, but not a deal breaker)
Self-starter – driven from within
Passionate about everything that they do
Pays attention to details
Has superior verbal & written communication skills
Creative in presenting ideas & information to others
Can create a clear & succinct messages when given information to drive engagement & sales result
On a daily basis, your duties may include any of the following:
Prospecting for companies that would benefit from our services
Cold contacting companies that are prospects, investigating to find out who is/are the decision maker(s) in that company then scheduling appointments either on the phone or in person, where appropriate in the local market
Contacting warmed up prospects
Some travel MAY be included for trade shows or meetings with prospective/current customers
The main objective of this position is to gain new customers to 71lbs.
This position does not come with a manual or a guide – you will be working with the Customer Acquisition Manager, Sales Manager & senior leadership team daily to take ideas and run with them.
