Job brief

Elevate is seeking a highly qualified Sales and Business Development Manager. The successful candidate will meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.

Responsibilities include developing key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans. Successful execution of these strategies is required to achieve your financial targets. Sales manager duties will include hitting annual targets, building relationships and understanding customer trends.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plan focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
  • Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events
  • Report on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts
  • Prepare proposals and work closely with SMEs  to ensure proposals covers all the requirements by prospects and clients.

Qualifications 

  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions in professional services in IT with preference in security, infrastructure and technical solutions selling
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent in IT, Sales/Marketing, Finance

Compensation

Based on experience with a base salary and commissions based on amount of sales. Incentives for opening accounts and growth within clients.
