Do you need hands-on experience to make it easy to find a job later? Do you like to work with the public … to help organize events … to promote the local-food and farm-to- table movements?
Florida Food & Farm and Foodilee have an opportunity for you! In artsy, trendy downtown Lake Worth, Florida, Florida Food & Farm and Foodilee needs interns. This is your opportunity to gain valuable experience that you can add to your résumé and to meet people who can help you advance your career.
You’ll help to plan, and work at, fresh-food- related community events; to produce and implement – across various platforms – a social-media plan; to write for our newsletter; and perform other important duties.
Here are the requirements: social-media experience; strong writing skills; ability to work independently; and be a self-starter. Some night and weekend work will be necessary.
These internship positions are unpaid, but they come with various perks, including, in some cases, free admission to interesting events. In addition, these internships could lead to full-time employment.
About Florida Food & Farm
To allow for faster posting of stories and photos, Florida Food & Farm became digital-only in 2016. But though its print version is gone, we still focus on the same topics we always did: the local-food movement, small growers and ranchers, trends in the culinary industry.
Foodilee specializes in videography and organizing events. If you enjoy media production, this is a great opportunity.
