Position Summary:

The National Impact team is responsible for LEE’s national platform supporting member impact across the country. The National Impact team is comprised of the following four national teams:

Elected Leadership (EL)
Leadership Development and Design (LDD)
Organizing Leadership (OL)
Policy & Advocacy (PA)
The Coordinator, National Impact is a member of the National Impact (NI) team and will report to the National Impact team Chief of Staff.  This person will provide administrative support for the Senior Vice President, including calendar management. The Coordinator will also provide administrative support for the Chief of Staff, as needed. The Coordinator will manage logistics for team calls, retreats, and communication and will also manage the team budget tracking and expense reporting.  They will work with the Chief of Staff to support Annual Planning, Quarterly Impact Review process, and support culture building across teams. This person will also collaborate with the Leadership Development and Design data team to ensure the team’s data are consistently accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible to NI staff and other teams for ongoing analysis to inform program strategy and evaluation. The Coordinator also compiles and analyzes program data (as needed).

The fundamental role of the Coordinator for the National Impact team is to create, maintain, and improve the systems for this newly formed team.  These processes enable staff to provide quality support and resources to their staffs and our members. By handling all the team’s logistics, the Coordinator increases the Senior Vice President and Chief of Staff ability to support National Impact Vice Presidents in their work. The coordinator must be extremely detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable, and make informed decisions in their day-to-day work. This position reports to the Chief of Staff, National Impact.

Position Location: Flexible; Miami or Washington, DC preferred

Travel Requirements: 15%

Responsibilities:

Complete scheduling and calendar management for Senior Vice President
Create, maintain, and improve systems for the newly formed National Impact team
Manage logistics for team calls, retreats, and communication
Support Chief of Staff in annual planning, quarterly impact reviews and culture building
Manage team AmEx, expense reporting, and budget tracking
Collaborate with the Leadership Development and Design data team to ensure the team’s data are consistently accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible
Provide administrative support for the Chief of Staff as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of professional work experience
Experience in project management and administrative assistance
Experience with event planning logistics
Strong communication skills with internal and external audiences
Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail
The ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
Ability to communicate and collaborate within a geographically dispersed team
Strong, demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity & inclusion
Deep passion for educational equity and belief in LEE’s mission and theory of change
