Responsible for the planning, coordinating and the implementation of organizational programs and events, including creating program materials, coordinating with partners, collaborators, and artists, social media marketing and community engagement, and ensuring that programs achieve stated objectives. Also responsible for supporting the development of programs and events that align with the organization’s mission and goals.

Specific Responsibilities

Maintain existing programs and coordinate all aspects of program pipeline duties. Support the design, development, and execution—of new programs that align with the organization’s goals. Existing programs include:
Lift Every Voice
Awake & Aware
Welcome to Our World (Virtual Reality)
Art Films
Climate Change Cinema
Miami Beach Residence Day/Culture Crawl
Work closely with Directors and staff to ensure priorities, timetables and related project elements are effectively implemented,
The development of an annual calendar of events with deadlines to ensure priorities are being met,
Serving as a point of contact and oversee the management of communications and scheduling with partner organizations and artists (where applicable),
Execution of oversight of the event and program, including ‘day of’ logistics,
Conduct documentation, surveys, evaluation, and reporting of all programs,
Marketing activities:
In coordination with staff, oversee strategy and the development of content and management of social media platforms with informational posts and audience engagement posts and event creations (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Discord, Twitch and YouTube),
In coordination with staff, develop program and event content for inclusion in our e-newsletter,
Develop and implement community outreach opportunities for programs and events,
Casual photography and videos of program and events for grant reporting and general marketing purposes,
Supporting the update of program and event content on our website, including regular updating of content including virtual offerings, images and accompanying graphics,
Support the development of collateral exhibit or program materials and distribution as needed,
o   The position requires some weekends and nights, as well as regular daytime office hours,

Candidate Skills and Abilities

·      Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

·      Thrives in new, undefined working environments.

·      Must be a self-starter

·      Must have attention to detail

·      Must be tech-savvy -experience in virtual reality a strong plus

·      Strong written and verbal skills in English -Kreyol and/or Spanish a plus.
