PracticePanther is a leading solution in legal practice management software. Founded in 2012, the company has grown at unprecedented rates and now serves tens of thousands of customers in 170 countries. The company’s SaaS solution is designed to be the most robust, intuitive, and user-friendly software that includes capabilities such as client and case management, time tracking, billing, expense management, payment processing, calendaring, and much more for law firms.
Bill4Time is a leading provider of cloud-based time, billing, and practice management software. Founded in 2006, the company has a deep legacy in the legal industry and has recently expanded on its core strengths of billing and time tracking to also offer customers unparalleled data-based business insights. The company’s simple to use, intuitive and user-friendly software allows lawyers and other professionals to streamline their businesses, get more done in less time, and focus more on what they do best.
We are looking for Product Director who is passionate about leading and building products that our users love. We are highly customer-oriented and want to add a Product Director who can operate in a nimble, fast-moving environment and “own” the vision and strategy our suite of products and manage the feature development process. This position will require you to architect solutions and features that affect tens of thousands of users on a daily basis.
The ideal candidate will be able to both set the strategy based on an in-depth understanding of our customer, lead and mentor our product managers, and work cross-functionally with development, customer support, marketing and management to execute a clear prioritization of new features. This role will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer.
Lead and own feature prioritization and product roadmap by conducting in-depth customer research, creating user stories, and being ahead of customer trends
Develop a deep understanding of our product solution and features
Understand our customers’ pain points and existing feature needs
Be up to speed on the legal industry, our competitors and their features, benefits, and pricing
Work cross-functionally between customer support, development, marketing and management on new feature or product launches
Be a thought leader on the future of the legal technology market and our product
Improve product design and functionality to improve customer engagement, reduce churn, and improve NPS
Lead, mentor, and grow our product team
5-10 years of B2B or SaaS product management experience
Demonstrated success and experience in drafting, defending, and executing product roadmaps
Experience leading sprint planning efforts and being the product owner alongside development teams in a scrum process
Track record of UX/UI sensibilities – great at working with product designers and creatives
Demonstrated success in clearly articulating customer needs through in-depth product research
Technical knowledge of user story development and implementation
Deep understanding and hands on experience with tools such as Optimizely, Foresee, GA, CrazyEgg, and MixPanel
CS or Engineering background a plus
Analytical – finds meaning and action in numbers, and is a data-driven decision-maker
Excellent communicator – written and oral
Stellar time management and organizational skills
Adept at learning web-based tools
Resourceful. Figures out how to achieve results creatively with finite resources
Thrives in a nimble, lean, unstructured, fast-paced startup
Works collaboratively and energetically
