We are looking for a passionate WordPress developer who can develop themes, new features, and maintain performance in a suite of existing wordpress installations across our organization. The WordPress developer is responsible for both front-end and back-end development, including the management of themes and plugins for WordPress. The candidate should have in-depth knowledge of the full LAMP stack, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for understanding of modern CMS frameworks and best practices.
This is a remote position with a preference for South Florida and Nashville-based candidates. The salary range is $70-$90K, commensurate upon experience.

Work closely with team and clients to understand their needs and requirements, thereby determining the functionalities and design for the website.
Design and implement new features and functionalities for WordPress (knowledge of theming for other CMS platforms like Shopify a major plus).
Customizing plugins and themes.
Developing and managing website back-end as well as server and database integration.
Testing the website performance, identify bugs, vulnerabilities and correcting them.
Ensure that the design and performance of the website adhere to the quality standards of the organization.
Observe the performance of live websites.
- Proven experience as a WordPress developer.
- Working experience of debugging tools like Chrome inspector, Firebug, etc.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and XML.
- Proficiency in GIT
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Good understanding of back-end development.
- Fearless in trying new things.
- Agile development understanding.
- Nice to Have: Shopify of Kajabi Theming experience
