As our Vice President of Sales, you will be responsible for building, facilitating and driving new customer acquisition through outbound sales motions. At QuickNode, we have a proven product-led growth model that has generated high quality inbound prospects that have added to our growing roster of Enterprise clients. However to fuel the next phase of our growth, we want to stand up an outbound focused sales team. We are looking for someone who can build our outbound motion by building a targeted sales team to acquire Fortune 1000 and other Enterprise customers. This is a brand new team for QuickNode, so we’re looking for someone who can launch this efficiently from the ground up.
You will be responsible for the outbound sales cycle, from target identification, research, qualification, engagement (with support from cross functional teams) and closing, and will manage and scale our process to efficiently respond to RFPs. This will be a hands-on role and you will be responsible for recruiting, process-development, coaching and ultimately sales outcomes through this outbound motion.
The individual in this role will work closely with other functions within QuickNode such as solutions engineering, product, and business operations to ensure the needs and insights from prospective customers are funneled appropriately. This position reports to our VP of Revenue.

We need you to display:

  • Technical sales and speaking to customers to understand product needs
  • Experience prospecting companies, identifying decision-makers, building a sales pipeline
  • Enthusiasm or past experience recruiting and retaining a team of high caliber outbound sales reps
  • High-level technical aptitude to understand our products and how they fit together and the ability to engage software developers and architects effectively.
  • Sales experience in cloud based infrastructure solutions is a plus.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Consistently achieve or exceed qualified monthly quotas
  • Own the sales strategy for outbound channels, with a focus on developing repeatable processes
  • Identify relevant lead sources to add to our databases
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to develop sales strategies, messaging and ideas to drive strong growth each quarter
  • Have a deep understanding of our features set, product roadmap and market to accurately address a customer’s objectives
