Job Type:  Full time

Pay: $110,000 / annually, plus benefits and stock options

Location:

·       Remote / yiayia is based in Miami Beach, FL USA with a global, distributed workforce utilizing globally disperse development techniques

Experience:

·       Full stack software development, 10+ years (preferred / 5+ years, required)

·       Distributed ledger development, 5+ years (preferred / 3+ years, required)

·       Security and/or data modeling, 3+ years (preferred)

·       Management of a distributed team (preferred)

Education:

·       Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, computer technology, statistics, mathematics, or a relevant field (required)

Reports To: CEO, CTO

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Architect blockchain solutions that are implementable, scalable, secure, and performant

·       Actively manage one or more core code areas from a vision / design, implementation, and testing perspective

·       Collaborate with VP, Engineering / Align the design of blockchain code components with the overall architectural vision

·       Actively participate in setting and enforcing coding standards and processes, and architecture compliance

·       Ensure best practices are captured and communicated to the team

·       Effectively communicate complex architectural and development concepts

·       Support and verify adherence to quality, process, and security standards, including code audits

·       Provide technical guidance and coaching to development team

Qualifications:

·       Demonstrated ability to understand, design, develop, and implement blockchain based solutions

·       Demonstrated ability to understand, design, develop, and implement scalable and low latency applications

·       Demonstrated ability to understand, design, develop, use and implement restful APIs

·       Demonstrated ability to understand, design, develop, and implement solutions utilizing Hyperledger, Indy, Baseline Protocol, Solidity, C++, Maker DAO, Compound, Angular, and Java Spring Microservices

·       Solid understanding of blockchain, cryptography, encryption, automation, distributed systems, and cloud

·       Knowledge in the design and modeling of relational and No-SQL databases

·       Experience with GitHub, BitBucket, JIRA, Confluence, Slack, AWS

·       Self-starter that requires minimal supervision

·       Positive attitude and able to thrive in a fast-moving environment

·       Proven track record of meeting ambitious software development timelines and a reputation for both setting and hitting deadlines

·       Excellent verbal / written English communication skills, with the ability to translate between business and technical lingo

·       Experience with global projects, including deliverables in multiple countries and working with international teams

·       Passionate about building an innovative culture

·      Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
