TheVentureCity & Google bringing 5-day bootcamp to Miami

TheVentureCity and Google are teaming up to bring Google Developers Launchpad Start to Miami in March. The program is described as a five-day hyper-acceleration bootcamp tailored to the needs of early stage startups, with programming and mentoring on product, design, marketing, business and growth. Launchpad Start bootcamps have taken place in Latin America and around the world, but this is the first one within the U.S.
During the week, startups will be able to deep dive into specific aspects of their business based on pre-selected themes chosen for the program, such as Growth, UX-UI and Design & Development to Marketing and Product, with hand-picked experts for each theme.
More than a dozen experts from TheVentureCity and Google will be participating in the bootcamps as mentors and speakers.
Founders who apply for the program should be prepared to bring their team members (the technical team member is mandatory) and be open and ready to make decisions guided by data.
What: Launchpad Start, powered by Google
When: March 18-22, 2019
Where: The Venture City, 2234 SW 8th St, Little Havana

TheVentureCity, based in Miami and Madrid, also offers its own accelerator programs, a venture fund and frequent community talks and workshops. Founded by Laura Gonzalez-Estefani and Clara Bullrich, TheVentureCity launched in 2017.
Entrepreneurs now have several options for accelerators and bootcamps in Miami. 500 Startups, which established an office in Miami last year, also runs multi-day bootcamp-style programs for startups and recently graduated its first Miami accelerator cohort.
